Appears to be check, where the donor would fill in the bank to have the funds drawn from as well as the indicated amount. "Pay to the Concord Antiquarian Society...Preserve This check when cancelled for its future antiquarian value." Image of the Lexington Road Museum on the left--a different architectural plan than the currently existing building.
